Shawn Hill stumbles in rehab

Triple-A Columbus Clippers (International League)

"Former Major Leaguer Pete Orr's grand slam in the eighth inning wasn't enough in the visiting Clippers' 6-5 loss to the Charlotte Knights. Rehabbing Nationals starter Shawn Hill was pounded for six runs -- five earned -- on nine hits over six innings the loss."

This is a troubling sign for the Nats who need one of their best starters in Shawn Hill back in the majors soon. This was Hill’s first rehab start in Columbus and his second overall. Whether or not this bump in the road will be a setback in his return is yet to be seen.
