The Story:
These two teams have combined for only 5 runs in the first two games of this series, however we may be in for a higher scoring night with a 45 year old pitcher on the mound for the Phil’s and a 0-5 Matt Chico. Chico is making his return to the rotation in place of injured Shawn Hill and will look to try and regain some dignity after an absolutely embarrassing start to the season. Moyer on the other hand has had very little success life time against almost all of the Nationals, and is likely to not have his best stuff due to the weather.
Stat of the night:
Ryan Zimmerman is 1 for 11 in his career against Moyer with no runs, RBI’s or walks.

god chico is awful
Now, it's not fair to expect a pitcher to hold an offense under 4 runs. But the way in which Chico let up his first four had me questioning why i broke my vow of never going to a game that Chico was slated to start. They need to send him down, or back to the bullpen pronto. PRONTO.
Matt Chico is one of the worst starters I have seen in recent memory. We owe him no loyalty.
Howard's homer in the 5th was amazing. Wasn't clear what Chico threw him, but it sailed nearly as far at The Onion's photo from a week or two ago.
Very sad.
I can't believe this, Dukes is far worse than Austin Kerns.
I don't know. I think I'm willing to give Dukes a little bit more time. I feel he was rushed back from his injury/the minors and his timing is still a bit off. Kearns has had the entire year to do something. Anything. And he just continued to baffle my defense of him.
